04 — Local Authorities

Our grounds maintenance service covers parks, open spaces, highway verges, housing land, schools (under local authority management), cemeteries and civic buildings. Programmes are specification-led, with scheduled visits, recorded attendance, photographic evidence and regular site audits.

Arboricultural works include routine highway tree maintenance, reactive storm damage response, planned removal programmes (including ash dieback) and new tree planting. All works are carried out by NPTC-qualified operatives with full RAMS documentation. We submit pre-commencement notification where required and coordinate with highways and planning departments.

We have experience tendering for and delivering contracts through frameworks, Dynamic Purchasing Systems (DPS), Contracts Finder and direct quotation routes. Pre-qualification documentation, PAS 91 responses, social value statements and modern slavery statements are available as standard.

Winter maintenance services include pre-treatment gritting, reactive gritting and snow clearance for council buildings, schools, car parks and pedestrian routes. GPS-tracked vehicles provide auditable attendance records, with bespoke gritting plans and trigger thresholds agreed with each client.
